Thoughts on Certainty
So many people are talking about these “uncertain times,” but I ask you what times have been “certain”? The illusion of control has been ripped away from us and the world is asking of us now to be open, resilient, and loving. I am having many conversations with myself about life, death and direction. I have decided to look at this time with certainty, not with the world, but with myself. Here are a few things I am thinking about…
.
I am certain I don’t know. I am certain I have faith. I am certain I am not afraid. I am certain my instincts don’t align with the information being put out in the world now. I am certain politics of any kind are not good for me. I am certain I don’t know. I am certain of how much I love. I am certain that I am growing and learning. I am certain I will not participate in low vibration relationships. I am certain that nature knows. I am certain I don’t know. I am certain the world is composed of all different beliefs and this is good. I am certain that germs will always be a part of living. I am certain washing hands is a good thing. I am certain that I am only as strong and healthy as my mind. I am certain I don’t know. I am certain we are all different. I am certain we are the same. I am certain change is certain. I am certain love is the answer.
.
There is something very comforting for me in the “not knowing.” It allows me to be open to learning, receiving and letting go. There is a burden to regurgitating statistics we’ve read or heard. The truth is, many of the issues we have today are a byproduct of people going up against each other with what they think they know. I can tell you something with certainty… Anything your mind thinks it knows, has come from somewhere outside of your inner wisdom and I would not trust that very much. The ego is having a real field day with the human race right now and I say take your power back and use your heart.
.
If we can be certain of our ability to work to stay open, to not judge, and to love in the face of any differences between us, things will begin to heal at an exceptionally fast rate.
.
I am certain of this.

To empower yourself during these “uncertain times,” make a list of the things that make you feel good that you are certain of.
